Rob's Carburetor Rebuilds

'83-'85 GS750-GS700 Fours with Mikuni BS32SS CV Slide Carbs

This is the third gen GS750 and GS700 with the BS32SS CV slide carbs.

Starting in '71 Suzuki started year coding bikes in the last letter used in the name. You may see this code on your bikes paperwork or in a parts list or catalog.  I leave this off as it is redundant if you are showing the year anyway. There is a chart below to find your year code.

Below is a set of '85 GS700ES BS32SS carbs. The assembled pictures at the top are before rebuild and after a very botched rebuild and stage kit install done by someone for the owner. Common case also of someone drilling the slide holes with the drillbit intended to remove emission caps over air screws OUCH. Layout pictures at the bottom and some finish work. The GS750E/ES are basicly the same carb, but different internal tuning. These carbs are painted black from the factory.
