'84-'86 GS1150 16V Fours with Mikuni BS36 CV Slide Carbs
This is the bad boy of the GS world GS1150 16V with the BS36 CV slide carbs. These carbs are painted black from the factory and I usually strip them. As you can see below, the parts will still have all the protective finishes they came with just no paint to chip off anymore. NOTE: The E,F and G you see in the end of the bikes naming is telling you the year, not the model.
Starting in '71 Suzuki started year coding bikes in the last letter used in the name. You may see this code on your bikes paperwork or in a parts list or catalog. I leave this off as it is redundant if you are showing the year anyway. There is a chart below to find your year code.
