Rob's Carburetor Rebuilds

'82-'83 GS1100 8V Fours with Mikuni BS34 CV Slide Carbs

This is the last of the GS1100 8V Shaft drives and they have BS34 CV slide carbs. These models came in two varieties. The GS1100G Sport Tour and the GS1100GL with cruiser. The carbs on both modelsare the same.

Starting in '71 Suzuki started year coding bikes in the last letter used in the name. You may see this code on your bikes paperwork or in a parts list or catalog.  I leave this off as it is redundant if you are showing the year anyway. There is a chart below to find your year code.

Below is a set of '80-'81 GS1100G 49400 carbs. This set is missing the choke cable holder. These look like most of the '82-'83 big Suzuki's with the exception of the clutch cable guard between the #1 and #2 carbs. However, they do have specific tuning and should not be used on the 16V engines.
